NS4501 Politics, Film and Fiction in Latin America

This course explores how Latin American film and fiction has portrayed politics. Specific novels, short stories and films (all with a political context) will be compared with social scientific readings analyzing the same topics. All movies will be in Spanish with English subtitles. All readings will be available in Spanish and English versions.
