Course Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of the course students will be able to:

  • Implement statistical procedures in response to issues that arise in reliability testing and data analysis, including those related to censoring.
  • Apply graphical methods effectively in the analysis of reliability data.
  • Apply spreadsheet tools and widely available statistical software for the analysis of reliability data using widely accepted models from the statistical and physical sciences.
  • Properly communicate the results of a reliability analysis to both technical staff and decision makers.
  • Integrate reliability analysis into the acquisition and maintenance cycles of military systems.
