MR2416 Meteorology for Electronic Warfare

A survey of environmental factors affecting the propagation and attenuation of electromagnetic waves. Synoptic and climatological conditions associated with anomalous refraction are studied. Ionospheric phenomena associated with longer wavelength (Hf) propagation. Layers associated with high aerosol concentration and optical turbulence are identified. Hands-on experience with existing environmental effects assessment models.
