NS3246 Comparative Defense Planning

The course seeks to acquaint students with the historical development and contemporary requirements of effective defense planning. It is organized around comparative case studies of defense planning as practiced by small and medium-sized states at varying stages of economic and military development, and seeks to provide students with firm understanding of the essential methodologies of both defense budget management and operational level war planning. Prerequisites: None.
