MV1000 Becoming a Master Learner

This course teaches fundamental skills associated with success in higher education, with a focus on improving learning strategies and self-management skills to help students better organize, prepare, and perform effectively in an academic or work environment. The course teaches students to improve study habits, develop critical thinking skills, use time management principles, hone communication skills and develop their own individual success strategies. The course helps students understand their own cognitive processes, and what strategies work for best for them in order to improve their learning and lead them to successes academically, personally, and in their careers.
