IS3504 Modern Network Operating Systems: Windows 2003 Server

This course focuses on the planning, design, installation, configuration and management of network operating systems used throughout DoD and private industry. Network operating systems are compared with single user operating systems to understand differences and similarities. Popular client/server and peer-to-peer systems are examined to provide a thorough understanding of the correct applications of each. Network labs provide in-depth analysis of such topics as file server configuration and administration, multi-level network security procedures and global file server synchronization processes.
