DA3101 Conflict in the Information Age

Given that the emerging information age heralds stark changes in future military and security policy, this course begins with a survey of the literature on the current revolution in military affairs (RMA), as well as studies of similar periods earlier in history. While significant attention is focused upon information technologies, the principal emphasis in this course lies in an endeavor to understand the ways in which new technologies affect military strategy, doctrine, and organization.
