MV4657 Modeling and Simulation for Stability, Security, Transition, and Reconstruction (SSTR) Operations

The purpose of this course is to explore the challenges of modeling non-traditional combat for today's war fighters. This course investigates issues, challenges, and opportunities for application of modeling and simulation (M&S) to military support for Stability, Security, Transition, and Reconstruction (SSTR) operations. The course considers application of M&S for SSTR from the perspectives of analysis, training, acquisition, and mission planning/rehearsal. Students are given hands-on experience with current and emerging SSTR M&S simulations and computational tools.
